Starfield College, Lagos celebrated its founder’s day with gratitude to God as teachers and students rejoice for another milestone in the school’s history.
The event held at the school hall on Tuesday, 8th October, 2024 had in attendance the school’s management, staff and stakeholders.
Speaking at the event, the Director of Studies, Mr. Chris Eigbe said the celebration is to show gratitude to God for the journey and growth of the school over the years, “and as we reflect on the milestones we have achieved, we are reminded of the guiding light that has always illuminated our paths – “the grace of God”.
“Today, we humbly offer our deepest gratitude to the Almighty for His unwavering presence in every aspect of our school’s existence.

“It is through His boundless love and divine guidance that we have been able to cultivate a nurturing environment for learning, growth and community.
Commending the teachers for their dedication, Eigbe thank God for the blessing of dedicated teachers over the years, who have selflessly imparted knowledge and wisdom to generation of students. “Their commitment to shaping young minds and nurturing talents has been instrumental in shaping the future leaders of tomorrow.
“Our heartfelt thanks also go out to the students who have worked through these halls, bringing their unique gifts and passions to enrich our school community.
“Their enthusiasm, resilience and determination inspire us to strive for excellence and embrace challenges with courage.
“As we celebrate this Founder’s Day, let us remember the Founders of our school whose vision and dedication laid the foundation of what we have become today. Their spirit of service and commitment to education continue to inspire us to uphold the values integrity, excellence and compassion in all that we do,” he urged.
He said: “May we continue to honour God’s blessings by fostering a spirit of unity, respect and love within our social community. Let us be guided by faith, hope and perseverance as we navigate the challenges ahead, knowing that with God’s grace, all things are possible.”

Pastor Moses Ogadi in his charge during the programme said that the school successes over the years were as a result of its foundation on the promises of God.
He further said that it takes the mercy of God to be up and doing in the last 26 years while urging staff and students to continue in their hard work and dedication, as this will help the school to progress as they proceed on the journey.
The School’s Principal, Mrs. Sara Oyinloye said the school believes in hard work and the result over the years has been positive.
“As a school we believe that our products will always speak for us. That is why in whatever we do, we ensure that we put in our best because our vision is to be the best and our mission is to discover that creative ability, that innate ability of a child; to nurture that ability to the advantage of that child and the society at large.
We focus on the child, we focus on making the child a product that whoever sees that product will look for its origin and that is what has been sustaining us.
“We work hard and we get results because hard work really pays. We can see it’s been paying us, so we always put in our best, we strive for excellence, because of our vision to be the best.
Mrs. Oyinloye said in the past their students have always excel in external exams and they expect to keep having more of such excellent performance.
“We also expect to go out more globally, internationally, not just in Nigeria. Because we have so many of our children that are outside the country studying, so we want to work this time to increase the number of our children in schools outside the country.
Revealing the positive feedback from parents, Mrs. Oyinloye said parents are very happy with the school, especially with excellent performance over the years.
“We have children that can now develop websites from coding, they can build a robot car, build electric lights and their parents are happy.
