Rotary International District 9111 has sent congratulatory messages to Rotarian Engr.Ade Oyenekan on his conferment and induction as a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE).
Rotary International District 9111 District Governor, Rtn Dr. Wole Kukoyi, Chief Medical Director of Ace Medicare Clinic described the Rotary Past Assistant Governor Ade Oyenekan as a thoroughbred, ethical, and accomplished professional.
He said he is “a past President of Rotary Club of Ikeja, dedicated, dependable and committed Rotarian who chaired the Committee that delivered the pioneer District Training Assembly (DTA) that has laid the solid foundation for our District 9111 that has continued to excel”.
In her contribution, Past District Governor Omotunde Lawson, Rotary District 9111 Training Facilitator added that “PAG Oyenekan has distinguished himself in the annals of engineering profession history as President of American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air- Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Nigeria Chapters.”
The President of Nigeria Society of Engineering (NSE), Engr. Margaret Aina Oguntala, on behalf of the Council, on Monday, November 18, 2024, decorated Rtn. Ade Oyenekan and 210 other distinguished engineers as Fellows of NSE in a colorful ceremony held at Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lugbe, Abuja.
In his remarks at the occasion, Engr. Joshua Egube, Executive Secretary NSE, noted that “fellowship of NSE is conferred on engineers who have excelled and distinguished themselves in the engineering profession.”
Engr. Victor Bandele, Deputy Managing Director Deep Water Assets, Total Energies EP Nig Ltd, the Special Guest of Honor delivered the keynote address at the occasion on the theme “Rebirthing the NSE for growth, empowerment and advancement of engineering in Nigeria”.
