The President Out-of-Home Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN), Rotarian Sola Akinsiku and the Chairman of the Association’s Board of Trustees, Sir Charles Chijide were recently honoured with chieftaincy titles by the Oke-Ija of Okija, in Anambra State, His Royal Majesty Igwe Emeka Nnamdi Okezie, KSC, frpa on Saturday, 6th of September, 2025 to commemorate the 8th anniversary of his coronation.

The event which was held at the Igwe’s palace was also part of the activities of this year’s Asara Okija Festival celebration of the ancient Okija kingdom.
The Igwe who is also a fellow in the advertising profession, and operates alongside the recipients in the Out-of-Home Media subsector of the Nigerian economy said the conferment on Akinsiku and Chijide was a testament to their dedication and hard work in the sector especially OOH, and their commitment to helping humanity.

Akinsiku who is the Chairman, KOK Visibility Edge Lagos, Lagos, bagged the title Mbaraobi of Okija while Sir Chijide was conferred with the Ozuone of Okija title.
The colourful event was witnessed by a large crowd of dignitaries, especially members of OAAN, including Chief Emmanuel Ajufo, Mr. Omo Abunene, Mr. Churchill Nwagwu, Chief George Onwujiariri, Mr. Ambrose Nnodim, Chief Chinweuba Nwagu, Mr. Kayode Akanbi, and Engr. Joseph Anasiudu.
