The Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo will on Monday February 13 take decision on the second semester examination of the institution.
In a statement by the University, signed by Mr.Emmanuel Fanu, Registrar AND Secretary to Council stated that attention of the university authority has been drawn to a false and misleading information on some social media platforms concerning the Second Semester Examinations.
“The University Authority hereby wishes to categorically state the following, that, the said information concerning the Second Semester Examinations DID NOT emanate from the University.
Also the decisions on academic related matters, including Examinations’ Time – Table for ALL the students of Lagos State University are in the purview of the University Senate, as the University Senate remains the highest Academic decisions’ making body.

That the Senate of Lagos State University will on Monday, 13th February 2023 hold an EMERGENCY MEETING to consider the Ministerial directive on the closure of all Universities and Inter University Centres during the upcoming 2023 General Elections, being a circular received from the Executive Secretary, NUC.
The University Authority hereby informs all Students, Parents/Guardians, Stakeholders and the General Public to disregard the fake and false information.
The decision(s) of the University with regards to the Second Semester Examinations will be made public immediately after the Emergency Meeting of Senate on Monday, 13th February 2023.
