Beulah World Initiative (BWI) organized a free medical outreach in Ifelodun Community, Ota, Ogun State, recently.
The event aimed to provide essential healthcare services and health education to the residents, addressing their physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being.
Beulah World Initiative (BWI) is a Christian non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being through faith-driven initiatives.
For the past 12 years, BWI’s mission has focused on offering support and resources to rural communities, ensuring they have access to basic health services, education, and care.

The outreach offered a range of services, including medical tests, treatment, eye exams, distribution of reading glasses, de-worming for children, as well as food and clothing donations.
The medical tests covered HIV, high blood pressure, syphilis, and malaria screenings for both adults and children. A series of eye tests were conducted, with many beneficiaries receiving eye drops and ointments as part of their treatment. Residents also received vital health education, equipping them with knowledge on preventive care and healthy living.
Speaking at the event, Mrs. Chichi Ononiwu, the founder of BWI, emphasized their commitment to serving rural communities through faith-driven healthcare initiatives. She spoke on the light of God, saying that you have to have this light—and without it, there is nothing you can do.
“As children of God, we are light, and a light that’s lit can’t be put under the table,” she said. Mrs. Ononiwu further stressed the importance of receiving the light of Jesus by being saved: “For you to have value as someone who God created and endowed with skills and talents, you must have the light of God.”
At the end of the outreach, many residents gave their lives to Christ, accepting Him as their personal Lord and Savior, marking a spiritual transformation in the community.
An elderly woman, who has attended BWI’s outreaches on three occasions, shared a powerful testimony, “I know of someone who was seriously ill for months, we thought she was going to die but God sent Beulah Initiative to us. They gave this woman drugs, and since then, she has not been sick.”
Moved by the impact of the outreach, she added, “I will organize my community to donate to this initiative so that BWI’s outreaches can be bigger and greater.”
Other beneficiaries prayed for the continuity and prosperity of BWI, saying, “Beulah Initiative, you have helped and given to our community, you have helped our children and because of that, God Almighty will bless you. Thank you for everything you have done.”
BWI hopes to expand its reach, hosting more free medical outreaches to support vulnerable communities across Nigeria.
